FAQ
Is shipping included in Australian orders?
Yes, free shipping is CURRENTLY included in all orders within Australia.
Do you ship Internationally?
Yes, worldwide shipping is now available on all orders. Smaller items are sent via Australia Post, with larger prints and paintings packaged professionally by Pack and Send, and couriers are also booked through Pack and Send.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Small items are packaged and sent three times per week. If you have ordered a print, these orders are then forwarded to printers and may take 5 to 10 business days to arrive if they aren’t already in stock in the warehouse.
If you purchase a painting already complete with a frame, these are packaged and sent within 2-3 business days. Other paintings that require framing can take up to two weeks depending on our framers current workload and supply.
if you are located in a remote location, lengthy wait times for your order may apply, your patience is appreciated, but please contact us if your order has not arrived within 5 -7 days after you receive shipping confirmation so your item can be tracked.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ORDER ARRIVES AND IT HAS BEEN DAMAGED DURING TRANSIT?
sadly, couriers can mishandle items when they are in transit which can be extremely unfortunate. if you receive an item and it has been damaged, please take photos of the packaging as well as the damage and email these immediately to art.nickyk@gmail.com - please understand that the artist takes no responsibility for damaged goods, however warranty claims will be submitted to couriers, its to their discretion as to whether these claims are successful, and the process can be lengthy. we will do everything we can to get the best possible outcome.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PAINTING AND A PRINT?
A PAINTING IS AN ORIGINAL PIECE OF WORK - PAINT ON A CANVAS OR LINEN.
A PRINT IS A HIGH RESOLUTION PHOTOGRAPH, TAKEN OF A PAINTING AND THEN PRINTED ONTO CANVAS OR PAPER. MANY WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE AS THE QUALITY IS GENERALLY VERY CLEAR. THE TEXTURE OF THE SURFACE IS A MAIN DIFFERENCE. a PRINT IS A GREAT FIRST STEP TO TAKE IF YOU HAVEN’T PURCHASED ORIGINAL ARTWORK BEFORE AND ARE UNSURE IF YOU ARE READY TO TAKE THE LEAP, AND PRINTS ARE ALSO A CHEAPER ALTERNATIVE.
Is there anywhere I can see your work in person?

Will my print or painting look the same as the online image?
All prints are reproduced as accurately as possible, however, a slight variation may occur between our website due to computer picture resolution and individual monitor settings on your computer screen, mobile device or tablet. All images used on our website are not necessarily shown to scale. Paintings are photographed in natural light and no editing is done , we aim to get images that are as accurate as possible.
How do I handle my fine art print?
All fine art prints are twice screened for any blemishes and imperfections before being passed onto clients: once by the printer and a second time in the artist's studio. Unframed prints are shipped in industrial tubes for extra protection and should be stored so until framed. Due to their delicate nature, prints should only be handled by a professional framer or the owner using gloves.
HOW DO I LOOK AFTER MY PAINTING OR CANVAS PRINT?
a few tips on care:
do not use cleaning aids of any kind on the surface of your painting or print.
only dust very gently with a feather duster or a dry, soft microfiber cloth.
never allow any items to press against the inside or outside of the canvas - this will cause damage to the paint and cause it to crack. please take extreme care during moving your artwork, and try to keep it to a minimum.
install artworks near heating, cooling or windows at your own risk. elements can be known to damage the surface of artworks, causing flaking, peeling, discolour or warping. this is your responsibility to further educate yourself on how to protect the longevity of your artwork, no accountability can be taken by the artist if these damages occur.
How does Afterpay work?
Afterpay is available for Australian, New Zealand and UK customer orders and is similar to lay-by, however, instead of waiting for your purchase, it's sent immediately! Afterpay’s instalment plan means you can pay off your purchase in four equal instalments due every fortnight.
First-time Afterpay customers provide payment details as per usual, whilst returning customers can just log-in to make a new purchase. To use Afterpay, select the Afterpay option at checkout. After checkout, your order will be shipped to you as per our standard despatch timing.
At any time, you can log-in to your Afterpay account to see your payment schedule and pre-pay a payment before the due date. If no pre-payments are made, Afterpay will automatically deduct the payments from your debit or credit card every fortnight on the payment date.
What if I change my mind?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer returns or refunds as our fine art prints are made to order, AND PAINTINGS ARE JUST TOO DELICATE.
